The increased height of the EXPS provides iron sight co-witness access in the lower third of the viewing window. Excellent holo sight, bar none. The red reticle in EOTech's other models is already super crisp, and this green one is even easier to pick up quickly. Battery life is acceptable, especially if it gets turned off for storage, where the CR123's outperform typical AA batteries. The QD mount is easy to use and very solid, returning to zero for me the few times I've removed the sight. My only grip is that EOTech doesn't offer green reticles in a 512-like package. AA batteries are certainly cheaper, and I haven't run into any issues where "rail space" would be an issue.

The green eotech is an excellent sight offering a crisp and bright reticle. While the 600 hours maybe a little short in duration, the speed in which this sight is usable is the offset. The field of view is superior to looking down a tube.
