The NVD-BNVD binocular delivers outstanding depth perception and supportability all in a compact dual tube night vision goggle. The NVD-BNVD is lightweight and can be worn comfortably for extended periods of time. When it is not in use and rotated upright, it should not interfere with anything above the user's head. This reduces risk of damage to the goggle and mount. This flexibility presents endless possibilities and combinations. The BNVD has an automatic system power cutoff whenever the BNVD is flipped up into the helmet mounted stow position, and then powers back on when it is flipped back down. This feature can also be turned off through a four position on/off switch.
