The Taurus 92 was inspired by one of the most iconic handguns in history, and offers a long service life and excellent reliability. It features an ambidextrous frame-mounted safety, with three positions and a de-cocking feature. This safety selector is more secure than a slide mounted safety, and allows the 92 to be carried “cocked and locked” or with the hammer down. The 92’s frame is drop hammer forged which greatly enhances the handgun’s durability, and also sports an integrated picatinny rail for the installation of tactical lights/lasers. In addition, the Taurus 92 ships with (2) 17-round magazines, and features a drift-adjustable rear sight.
