This Group Industry’s reproduction of the Thompson submachine gun is fully transferable and in great condition. It appears to be based on the M1928A1 Thompson machine gun used by US forces during the Second World War. This Thompson machine gun fires from the open bolt position and has two fire modes: semi-automatic and fully automatic. We cannot confirm the fire rate for this particular firearm, but original M1928A1’s have a fire rate of 600-725 rpm.
Like the original M1928A1, this Group Industry’s Thompson reproduction features a safety selector with two positions, safe and fire. The charging handle functions as a close combat sight and the rifle comes with the desirable and more precise ladder sights. The barrel of the machine gun comes with a reproduction of the Cutts compensator with 12 o’clock positioned vents to combat muzzle rise during automatic fire.
