Description

This Leica ER 6.5-26x56 long-range scope with 4A reticle features a ballistic turret, AquaDura coating, low color fringe, high contrast optics, parallax compensation, high-magnification power, and generous travel in windage and elevation. These scopes are capable of shooting up to 1,000 yards, and their long-range reticles feature stadia lines and wind hash marks.

This is a follow up. The Leica scope is as high quality riflescope as any others at their price point. Robust, with good coatings and glass almost like Schott (Swaro/Zeiss high end). Better than most. The manufacturer reached out to me, which sortamade me a liar in my last review. I expected their support to be commensurate with their website, which turned out to be a false assumption. I own two (an ER and an ERi) and like them both very much. One is on a working gun and I don’t fret much about the cosmetic abuse. For that reason alone I suspect it will get more use than any of my “better” hunting scopes.

Scope is well made; Leica support wholly lacking insofar aswebsite. They are a camera company first and foremost, and their lack of technical support on an Internet-friendly basis is disappointing. I guess I would bother Alex and the guys but it isn’t their fault Leica can’t leave pdf manuals on their expensive scopes on their website. My take on it is forget about the Leica’s as they very well be on their way “out,” for the second and likely last time.
