Love my new Trinovid's. Replaced older Zeiss 10x40 Classic bino's and the difference is head and shoulders above the older Zeiss. A bit heavier but the clarity and ease of focus far outweigh the added carry weight. Better eye relief for eye glass wearers as well. Highly recommend and on par with Swaro SLC's for a lot less money.

These binos are excellent. They are very very close to the Ultravids (I have had a couple of those too). To my eyes, Leica has always had the best color rendition and image quality of any binos. Swaros might have a touch more contrast and "sharpness" but most humans do not have eyes that can detect this during general use. Leica is also usually regarded as the toughest binos and these are no exception. These are far and away the best value in the "mid range" bino world easily surpassing any Vortex, Nikon, Meopta, Zeiss, etc. for the money. Too bad they are discontinued now. The new "HD" Trinovids have lesser quality glass in them despite the HD status.

I've only had these Trinovids for a couple of weeks, but there isn't anything not to like about them. They are a significant upgrade over the Leupold binos that I have been using for years. Brightness and sharpness are outstanding. Ergonomics and feel are exceptional. They have a substantial feel, but are not what I consider are right there with them. Eurooptics service was great. heavy. I have compared to swaro SLC's and think they Look forward to doing business with them again.

Excellent product. I bought Leica over other brands after purchase of a Leica riflescope (also from EuroOptic). This is my first high-quality binocular purchased specifically for a hunting trip in the Fall, though they have made to every outdoor trips in the short time I have had them. Edge to edge clarity, super bright, no eye fatigue, no false colors. Well engineered and built tough and beautifully spartan. Quick and simple to adjust. Very pleased.

I bought this binocular on sale, and wasn't disappointed. It is unbelievably sharp, displaying amazing detail. Colors are vivid and full of contrast. The only downside I've experienced is blue/purple color fringing late in the day, when looking at light objects (bare branches) against a light sky background....but I have not found any of this under normal viewing conditions. The view is amazing!

I gave this binocular a four star rating in March, 2016, but thereafter found that it suffered from severe chromatic aberration on cloudy, overcast days. It is now at the Leica repair facility and I truly hope the problem can be fixed. We shall see.

These binoculars are as advertised. Great glass in low light conditions with no eye strain. I had to play with the eye cups for a while to get the appropriate setting for my eyes. I can compare these to the SLC HD and cannot tell a difference in fading light. I also like the compact design. Very nice look and feel to these binoculars as well. Very happy with these for the price from euro optic.

You can spend a thousand dollars more for a pair of Ultravids, but most users won't be able to detect optical differences between these models. They are a replacement for my older Trinovid 8x42 model, as my aging eyes needed more magnification for hunting and bird watching. I would have given the new ones five stars but for the fact that my old Leicas came with a leather case versus the woven nylon of the new ones as well as a less than desirable neck strap, which I promptly replaced with a better padded aftermarket one.
