Description
Think of Bergara’s Premiere Series as an extension of their Custom series, but with the standardized features for greater efficiencies in part production and assembly-providing near custom performance at prices that are affordable to serious shooters.
Bergara’s premium stainless steel barrels receive a proprietary honing process at their barrel-making facility in Bergara, Spain. Then, at the Bergara USA factory, the barrel receives a Cerakote™ finish and is coupled with their proprietary Bergara PREMIERE action, featuring a non-rotating gas shield, coned bolt nose and sliding plate extractor.
Premiere Series rifles are built by hand and offer each shooter a wide variety of stock options. Choose from multiple carbon fiber, fiberglass, composite, and precision machined chassis stock offerings. All Premiere Series rifles are built around legendary Bergara barrels and feature world famous TriggerTech® triggers, among the other industry-best components. All rifles are hand assembled in house by Bergara’s qualified builders to their exacting standards and precise specifications and a guaranteed to produce sub-MOA groups using factory ammunition.

Customer Reviews
I shoot PRS competitions. I began in Production class. I have the Bergara LRP and the HMR in 6.5 CM. Love the HMR, good stock, action is solid shoots sub MOA at a 100 yds with factory match ammo. The same with the LRP. However the LRP uses the XLR Element chassis gen I. XLR does not support the gen I anymore, so you can't get weight kits or most other accessories from them. The most you can get are a folding stock adapter and some grips. I have come to hate the stock on the XLR Element G1 chassis. It is hard to adjust, particularly in the field. you need Allen wrenches to loosen the four screws on either side of the check weld. Also problematic when cleaning. The Element G1 chassis also does not use MLOK to mount accessories. I do have an Area419 mounted to the forend to used to get a bipod and barricade stop mounted. For the almost $2K for the LRP you're better off going with an MPA or MDT rifle. Great rifles have a ton of customizations and will grow with you. If you are looking for just a solid hunting rifle I would recommend the HMR. I would avoid XLR. Bergara you should at least get XLR to supply you with the latest version of the Element G3, G1 is just to limited. Again Bergara's barreled actions are good for the price.
