Chambered in the .22 WMR, the CZ 512 offers better ballistic performance when compared to a similar rifle chambered in .22 LR. It features a modular design which is easily maintained, and can be field stripped using a coin as a tool. The 512’s action features an lightweight aluminum alloy upper receiver which secures the barrel to the bolt assembly, and a fiberglass-reinforced polymer lower half houses the trigger and magazine well. In addition, the 512 features a cold hammer forged barrel with adjustable sights, and an 11mm dovetail for mounting optics.
