The CZ75 B Omega is the next step in evolution of CZ USA’s flagship handgun, the CZ75 B. Originally designed in 1975, the CZ75 has seen service in the hands of military, police, and government agencies around the world, and is the second most copied handgun design next to the 1911. One of the CZ75 B Omega’s more notable features is its new Omega Trigger System and a simple hammer-fired action. Because the Omega’s trigger parts are interlocking in nature, the CZ75 B Omega can be fully disassembled and reassembled without any gunsmithing experience or special tools. This robust trigger system also has a convertible safety/de-cocker system. Conversion only take a few minutes, and allows the user to carry the pistol de-cocked for a double action first trigger pull, or cocked and locked like a 1911. Like all handguns in the CZ75 family, the CZ75 B Omega has a reputation for excellent ergonomics, accuracy, and reliability. The CZ75 B Omega’s level of shooter comfort can be attributed to a curved frame designed for a perfect fit in the shooter’s hand, and a tang that extends over the web of hand provides protection from hammer or slide bite. This special design eliminates the “brick-in-the-hand” feeling that plagues semiautomatic pistols of a similar class, and makes the weapon feel like an extension of the shooter’s arm. Another feature of the CZ75 B Omega is its low recoil. This is due to extremely tight tolerances, and a uniquely designed internal rail lowers the pistol’s center of gravity to help reduce muzzle jump as well as improving reliability. In addition, the CZ75 B Omega comes standard with a firing pin block safety, which prevent the firing pin from moving unless the trigger is pulled and will prevent the weapon from firing even if its dropped in its muzzle.
