The VP9SK’s machined steel slide is protected from corrosion and wear by HK’s hostile environment finish and all metal components. Despite their small size, VP9SK subcompacts have excellent weight and balance making them naturally pointable, easy to control, and accurate to shoot.
This HK VP9SK with a black polymer frame will ship with a Crimson Trace Laserguard® with a high visibility green laser. The Laserguard® uses an 1/3N lithium battery that will give the shooter over 4 hours of use before a battery change, this fine close-quarters laser will produce a dot size of approximately .5" at 50'. The VP9SK outfitted with the sleek Crimson Trace Laserguard® makes the firearm ideal for both home defense and concealed carry. The VP9SK also features a scaled down version of the VP adjustable grip feature, allowing the shooter to obtain the perfect grip. Another state-of-the-art feature of the VP9SK is that all of the controls are completely ambidextrous, with slide and magazine releases on both sides of the pistol. In addition the VP9SK has an abbreviated picatinny rail molded into the polymer frame so lights and lasers can be attached with no modifications to the firearm.
