MDT’s Elite Scope Rings deliver a solid, lightweight optic mounting solution. The extensive manufacturing process involves a high-end, seven-axis CNC machine tool, with the bottom rail interface being machined at the same time as the scope clamp interface to ensure all rings are square and parallel. The Elite Rings utilize an extra wide profile for excellent stability, and an extra thick clamping system will never bend, fatigue, or become loose over time. One of Elite Ring’s more notable features is a STANAG 4694 specification, aka NATO Spec. Unlike MIL-STD-1913 rings that leave a small gap between the rail and underside of the mount, the Elite Rings tightly sit on the top of the scope base rail, with pressure being applied to the underside of the angled rail surfaces to maintain a solid interface.
