The Masterpiece Arms (MPA) BA Ultra Lite Chassis was developed to meet the wants and needs of any hunter. The main feature of the BA Ultra Lite Chassis is the extreme weight reduction down to just 2.5 lbs. which is over 2 lbs. lighter than the base model MPA BA Chassis and its predecessor the BA Lite Chassis. Despite the weight reduction, the MPA BA Ultra Lite Chassis is still feature-rich with the MPA bubble level, A2 Pistol Grip, adjustable length-of-pull and cheek height.
The BA Ultra Lite Chassis is available in a variety of inlets for the some of the industry’s most popular actions including Tikka, Savage, Remington, Howa, and more. I own several MPA Chassis from ESR, Hybrid and now this UL. I have to say that I was skeptical of the UL Chassis the most but picked one up for my Seekins PH2 to keep the weight down but drastically improve ergonomics (traditional stocks do not work for me at all). The UL chassis is actually my favorite of all MPAs that I own and also overall out of any others that I have owned for a mid weight barrel contour. For the heavier barreled actions the Hybrid is great. That said I tend to remove all of the accessories off of the Hybrid and ESR e.g. bag rider, bipod mount (prefer acra mounted bipods) and NV bridge. If you want a light, handy rifle with great ergos the UL is hard to beat.
