I have this scope mounted on a Savage 111 in 7mm Remington Magnum. This scope is crisp and clear well beyond 1000 yards which is great because the rifle is a tack driver! I guess you could call this a “sleeper” setup because nobody would expect a rifle/scope combination in this price range to be this good!

I agree with Robert's review. I have 6 Savage Arms all with Nikon scopes and these firearms are amazingly accurate with these scopes. I have 2 P3 6-18x40AO's and they make these Savages lethal. Spot On. Great clarity and nice adjustability. I put one on a 7mm-08 and the other, because I liked it so much, on a A22 Mag. I know it's overkill on a A22 Mag but it is so much fun to poke a hole in a dime at 100 yards!

Typical Nikon quality and clarity. Wonderful scope! I use it on my Browning T-Bolt in .22LR and I wanted to be able to see the x-ring at 50-75 yards. A 6-18 does this with no problem. Future buyers keep in mind that this is a 40mm objective, so it won't gather as much light at sunset or dawn as a 50mm objective will. If you're hunting or shooting in low light, the 50mm version may be a better fit. One can never go wrong with Nikon!

Mounted on AR-10 in .308. Great clarity. Only had it out to 200 yds, but sure it will perform just as good well beyond that.

Mounted scope on a PSA Gen2 KS-47. Sighted in 3 rounds.
