One of the more unique firearms to become available in the last few years, the Remington 870 TAC-14 isn’t technically a shotgun but fires 12 gauge shells. This highly compact firearm sports a 14" smooth-bore barrel with a front bead sight. The most important feature of the TAC 14 is the Raptor Grip, unlike many pistol grips for 12 gauge shotguns the unique shape of the Raptor Grip greatly reduces the felt recoil expected from 12 gauge buck shot or slugs. The M-LOK Forend can allows for attachment of lights and/or tactical lasers.
Due to its size and knock-down power, the Remington 870 TAC-14 would be an effective home defense or truck gun. The Remington 870 TAC-14 is not considered a Short Barrel Shotgun and is not a NFA regulated firearm.
