I purchased a Finnlight in 309 Win Mag several years ago for a South African Plains Animal Hunt in Limpopo Province that came up on short notice. I was firing fairly hot 165 grain bullets. The rifle was very accurate and certainly did its job on animals ranging from Greater Kudu to Impala. The rifles stock and weight made it an excellent rifle to carry during our numerous stalks. My only complaint would be that even with the excellent kick pad with hot loads this rifle recoils like a peak mule when shooting from the bench. The Mag Pad was very welcome. Overall, I give it excellent reviews for performance, comfort and ruggedness in a light weight. It performed flawlessly, and as expected, there was no noticeable recoil when firing at game. Adrenalin is a wonder kick pad.

Purchased to have a second 300 Win Mag to a Finnlight for travel hunts. Both rifles are tack drivers. Broke the barrel in just before a Montana bear hunt shooting .48 MOA w/Nosler 200 gr Accubonds in front of 71 gr of IMR 4831. Shot it to 500 yards in Montana and the rifle shoots so well, that I'm shopping for a new scope to stretch it's legs even further. The trigger adjusts easily, breaks like glass and the rifle weight is acceptable for mountain hikes. I'd put this rifle against any "custom" hunting rifle and what's better, it doesn't have an ear damaging muzzle break.
