Overall I like the rifle.
Only reason I give it 4 stars is the charging handle stem dimensions are PROPRIETARY!
So no Raptor charging handles for me.
Other than that it's solid!
Like the dual side QD sling points on the lower.
Hand guard is comfortable with lots of room for MLOK accessories.
Wish the stock they come with was a ripstock, but it is a good stock.

I got my 716i Tread from EuroOptic a few weeks ago and love it. I do agree with the previous reviewers, that the charging handle is a disappointment. It is not big enough for the rifle, and anyone who wants to use the 716i for fast shooting shooting drills or competition will need to change it out. Nonetheless, I knew about the charging handle issue before buying it, so I was not surprised. Because of that, I would probably give it 4.5 stars. But, since I can't do that with this website's rating system, and since overall I "Love It," I rounded up to five. It has provided me everything else I wanted in a .308 AR - solid, well balanced, good quality, and a good price.

Just received my new 716i last week. Much like the previous review, I wish that SIG had either gone with a standard dimension charging handle so it could easily be replaced, or at least put a much better one on the rifle from the factory. It's hard to get a good grip on the stock charging handle, especially with an optic mounted.
Other than that, this is an exceptionally nice rifle that's extremely smooth and well made.
I'm very happy with my purchase, and EuroOptic service is second to none!

The person above me doesn’t know what they’re talking about regarding barrel length, and who cares if someone wanted to run a barrel shorter than 16” without a stamp. All gun laws are infringements anyhow. His opinions are just like his last name, Gay.

Haven't bought one yet, I prefer a 18" barrel with a suppressor mountable flash hider. The reason, is that a technical 16" barrel can have the muzzle break removed and therefore illegal. Having a 18" barrel will clear it all up, it's 18" long therefore the muzzle break removed means it's still 18" long barrel.
