Description
Sitka redefines soft shell jacket performance on active outdoor pursuits with the Jetstream Jacket! Available in a massive assortment of colors and camouflage patters, the Jetstream Jacket comes equipped with multiple Sitka exclusive features. The Jetstream Jacket is outfitted with GORE Windstopper technology, making it 100% impervious to wind, and a DWR finish allows the jacket to easily shed light rain and snow. This ability to withstand wind and light precipitation is perfectly complimented by the Jetstream Jacket’s taped and skived seams, which offer added weather protection without any unnecessary bulk. In addition to its wind and weather resistance, the Jetstream Jacket is designed for maximum comfort. The interior is made from recycled polyester fabric with polyester micro-grid fleece – this delivers excellent warmth, but also allows for breathability when needed, and zippered heat-dumps in the pit areas allows you to vent off excess heat while on the move. The Jetstream Jacket also utilizes articulated patterning to promote a full range of unrestricted movement, and zippered hand and chest pockets are included to store all of your essentials. The Jetstream Jacket’s ability to stop wind, shed light precipitation, breathability, and warmth makes it a perfect outer-layer for warmers days, or as a mid-layer for when temperatures drop.

My favorite all around jacket. Form fitting but with enough stretch and articulation that it's a perfect active jacket. Works great in mild weather, cuts the wind and with a light puffy underneath I wear it year round in WI. It's not a full rain jacket but it does shed water nicely and strikes a pretty good balance between hard and soft shells. For sizing, I am 6'1" 190 34" waist and usually wear LT. This is athletic cut so I sized up and have this jacket in both XL and XLT. Both fit well with enough room under for a puffy layer and it doesn't feel oversized without the layer. The XLT is generously long in the arms, they bunch up just a bit more than I expected. For sizing, if you want to layer and typically wear a tall size, just size up one and the sleeves should be long enough. If you want a close fitting shell and are a "long armer" like me, order your regular size in a tall.
