SureFire’s FH556RC-1/2-28 Flash Hider is the exact same flash hider that dominated the most rigorous suppressor trial in military history and earned the USSOCOM suppressor contract. When compared to a bare muzzle, the FH556RC-1/2-28 Flash Hider reduces muzzle flash by up to 99% thanks to its 4-tine design. This flash hider is outfitted with multiple bearing surfaces to ensure proper suppressor alignment, and serves as a solid mounting platform for any of SureFire’s SOCOM Fast-Attach suppressors. In addition, the FH556RC-1/2-28 Flash Hider features a mill-certified stainless-steel bar stock construction and is heat-treated for durability, as well as resistance to gas and particle erosion.

Slapped this on my DD Mk12 upper, like the gentleman above stated, has a little ring to it when you fire, but not a huge deal at all. The timing chart that comes with SF muzzle devices comes in clutch. On an 18 inch barrel the muzzle flash is almost non-existent. As always Euro gets your product out the door and to your door, FAST, faster than anyone else I order from.

Phenomenal flash hider for a great price. Has a ring to it after each shot but not a big deal. Tames the flash on a MK18 but doesn't hide it. Overall great stuff.
