It does its job. Like every other customer says, this sealing plate should be included with every RMR sight sold instead of being an overpriced "required" add-on.

It is what it is. A REQUIRED piece by trijicon to seal the bottom of the RMR to the top of the slide. Without this piece the bottom of the RMR is exposed and it would be metal on metal. This piece was $13 to my door for a tiny piece of cheap sealant. Should have been included with the over priced RMR. This was a cheap shot by trijicon to get its customers to spend just alittle more for an overpriced over rated optic. Why did I buy this optic or why didn’t I return it? Because the gun I bought specifically asked for this optic and the slide was cut just for this. I would have definitely got something different if I had the option.

I feel like Trijicon should include this for what the optic cost. You need this to make the optic waterproof.
