I have several of these magazines that I use or have used in Gen 1 and Gen 2 (current) AX's as well as my AXMC using the magazine adaptor. The quality, reliability and robustness of these magazines are the best in the industry. They have fed smoothly and reliably with every cartridge I've used them for (6.5 creedmoor, 243, 308). A few of the mags I've had for as long as 6 years and have seen thousands of rounds, and hundreds of drops. I've never had to replace a spring, have never had a feed lip bend, or anything. Just flawless function and reliability.

Best magazine for bolt guns. Double stack AX mags can be loaded while they are still in the gun, an awesome feature.

Only complaint is that AI welds these mags together- meaning the floor plate does not come off. That means no mag extensions.
But, still my favorite mag in a precision rifle.
