AI aluminum Mag Adapter black 27268-BL

I've been using this magazine adaptor along with AX 308 magazines for over 6 months now in my sage green AXMC (300WM version) to shoot 243. Function has been flawless due to the adaptor placing the magazine all the way forward in the mag well near the feed lips. It feeds and functions just like if you were shooting a short action rifle. The adaptor fits perfectly with no slop in the mag well or around the magazine and the latch manipulation is still exactly the same. Installation is easy by simply inserting it in the mag well and sliding it up until the detent clicks. Removal is basically reverse by first depressing the detent through the hole with a pointy object (a loaded round works well), sliding it down partially and then also pressing the release latch and sliding it free. I'm a function over form person but I was slightly concerned with the black finish with my sage green rifle since AI only offers this adaptor either black or pale brown. You really only see it from the bottom side of the rifle however and a little from the window side and the black accent on sage green is actually very visually appealing since the rifle has some other black accents and most of my accessories and optic is black as well. The magazines are also black since AI doesn't currently offer additional magazines in sage green either. So if color is a concern to you, don't worry about it, it looks very nice actually.
