Description

The Nightforce one piece steel base is built to military standard 1913 specifications with a 40 MOA taper. At the bottom of the base is an integral recoil lug that provides an exact fit and prevents any movement of the base. This base fits HS 700 short action firearms.

Milspec 1913 and picatinny compatible. Using this base with a European optic for more mils in elevation and works great, 8-40 screws are stronger and the recoil-lug fits precisely to the model 700 receiver. You do have to have the receiver modified for the 8-40 screws and recommend it be done by a qualified gunsmith. You won't be disappointed by this base!
