Sako 85 Finnlight Rifle Parts

Stock: The Sako 85 Finnlight has a reinforced black polymer stock with a soft gray pattern on its grips surfaces and a Soft Touch surface treatment.

Barrel: The specially engineered fluted barrel of the Sako 85 Finnlight reduces rifle weight and also accelerates the barrel cooling.

Safety: The two-way safety locks both the trigger and the bolt handle. The Sako Safety System allows you to load or remove a cartridge from the chamber while the safety is engaged.

Trigger: The single-stage trigger is adjustable from 2-4 lbs. It also features an extremely durable, all-steel trigger guard.

Purchased the sako finnlight August of 2018. It seamed to be on back order forever in 260 rem. I set up a text alert with Eurooptics. I happened to be in Lewisburg on business when I got the text. I drove down and bought it the next morning. I got the optilock mounts and rings. Mounted a leoupold vx3 in 3.5x10. I proceeded to try 5 different factory loads. All shot under 1.25 inches from the bench. But the rifle loved the 140 gr stuff. I took one shot at a 6 inch steel gong at 315 yards and nailed it. Then I shot one deer at 70 yards and it never took a step. It just dropped in its tracts. The trigger on this rifle is fantastic. This has to be the ultimate eastern mountain rifle. Now I’m just starting to reload for this rifle and caliber. It can only get better.
