Description

From small game hunting to bench-rest target shooting, the Sako Quad Varmint .22lr rifle delivers the same quality, performance, and precision that Sako's larger center-fire rifles are known for. Its Monte Carlo stock is made from premium, oil finished walnut. The stock features a raised cheek piece for better shooting comfort, and a flat-bottomed, extra wide forend to better seat the rifle when shooting from a bench-rest. The Quad Varmint is also outfitted with a cold hammer forged, heavy-contoured barrel to accommodate fast repeating shots without getting too warm as well as enhancing accuracy. In addition, the Quad Varmint features a loaded chamber indicator on the rear of the bolt, and a single stage adjustable trigger.

SAKO Quad Varmint delivers perfection! If you are looking for a match accurate 22LR that delivers, this is it. First 2, 5 shot groups out of rifle were half a dime with GEKO ammunition.

If you're lucky enough to get your hands on one of these you can stop reading now because you already know what I'm going to type. The Sako Quad Varmint is simply the finest .22 rifle I have ever owned. Out of the box accuracy is phenomenal and unlike other rimfire rifles I own, the Quad Varmint delivers sub-MOA accuracy with a variety of ammunition instead of having only one or two 'favorite' loads. Fit and finish is on par with everything Sako builds. I don't think the Finns know how to half-do anything. The Quad Varmint is the perfect companion for your 85 Varmint when you want to practice without spending big $ on centerfire ammo. It has the look and the feel of a precision tool and it's one that I am proud and feel very lucky to own.

Recived my quad in january, took a few months to get scope, mounts, rings ect ready and warmer weather. First trip to range the bolt felt very stiff, but I had no trouble shooting .5 in 5 shot groups. On my second trip [ after aprox 300 shots ] the bolt has improved greatly. Accuracy is up too. Now shooting .343 in 5shot groups at 50 yds, this gun will shoot. My win.52 and annies have compution now. Groups measured from outside edge to outside edge.
