The 42 mm objective lens size is considered the most useful as an "All Round" binocular size due to their size, weight and performance. At just under 6 inches long, only 28 ounces in weight, with a 91% light transmission, the 42 mm SLC truly delivers.

Bought my 7X30s 30 years ago and have loved them them the full time. Last year in NV deer hunting they just did not seam as clear and light as in past. I have heard about their customer service but did not know if they would stand behind such experience glasses. I sent them in was told they could improve them free of cost or because mine were not water proof and most of my issues were from use and a littl abuse that for $500 they would make them new and water proof. I paid them the money and waited to see if it was worth the $$. They showed up and wow!! I could sell them as new fore sure. They even had the much newer wide eye lenses, adjustment knobs and more. I called th and the rep told me they only use three brass parts from my old glasses. Worth every $$ and I am sure my son will get many more years out of them. I feel real good about the spotting scope I just purchased from them for my son
