If you are going to spend the money on a Schmidt and Bender then these are no-brainers. They really protect the scope and are well made. They attach to the scope securely, unlike others which just slide over and rely on friction. They look and feel great and NOT cheap. I am surprised that they are not recommended on the product page with the scope!!! I guess if you have enough knowledge to know how good a scope the S&B are, then you should also know about tenebraex!!!!

The Flip Cap fits my S&B eyepiece nicely.
It has ratchet positioning option which allows adjustment of the cover in up position.
It means that cover in up position would not obstruct access to elevation knob and would allow adjustment of the eyepiece without removing flip cap.
Very good design!

Always used most popular flip cover and they broke on me constantly. Got my first set of Tenebraex caps for my S&B and they are much stronger in build and fully flip open unlike the BC caps.

Funny ... bought full set of Tenebraex covers for my New S&B 5-25x56 PMII .. only to find already was holding Butler Creek covers when arrived, so best of both worlds now have 56mm Adaptor and Tenebraex on front and the quick release Butler in rear ... nice :)
