Description

Leupold's Wind Plex Reticle, which improves upon the basic Duplex reticle by incorporating 1-MOA hold marks along the horizontal target axis for simple wind corrections.

This optic also features Leupold's CDS-ZL2 (Custom Dial System ZeroLock 2). This locks the dial in place to prevent it from being accidentally turned from zero.

The combination of the CDS-ZL2 system and Wind Plex Reticle enables precise ballistic correction.

All my rifles have Leupold Scopes since the late 70s. My new additions are the vx 5hd on two hunting rifles. These are the way to go. Clear crisp and with the turrets and a little homework at the range Im hitting game out to 600 yards. I have 14 kills from 350 to 600 yards no misses. Would recommend Leupold to anyone serious about putting meat in the freezer.

I own 4 VX5HDs. I’m a member of a long distance rifle range and the wind plex reticle is nice for wind holds whether off the bench or in the field. It is a very minimalist reticle and is not distracting while lining up cross hairs for a shot on game. The reticle thickness is easy to see on the edges of daylight. I also have the illuminated duplex reticle on my other VX5HDs but the wind plex is on my 6.5 CM. I also will say my turrets have tracked on my VX5HDs. No they aren’t a committed PRS style optic but for recreational long distance shooting and hunting they are perfect.
